Jian Pan, Ph.D, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, Director of the Department of Oral Surgery, West China Hospital of Stomatology, Sichuan University. Dr. Pan is the fellow of International College of Dentistry (ICD), academic and technical leader of Health Commission of Sichuan Province, Vice President of the Chinese Society of Dental and Alveolar Surgery, Committee Member of Chinese Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Committee Member of Stomatological Society in Sichuan Province, Vice President of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Society in Sichuan Province, Committee Member of General Dentistry Society and Oral Equipment in Sichuan Province. Dr. Pan has been the principle investigator(PI) of 12 projects, including grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 80 academic papers, participated in the compilation of 18 monographs, and won 3 provincial and ministerial science and technology progress awards. He has been engaged in clinical, scientific research, teaching and management of oral and maxillofacial surgery for more than 20 years, and is good at the diagnosis and treatment of difficult cases in oral surgery.
